...I haven't logged on here in forever.
I suck at Live Journal, I really do.
Even when I have a really sexy Carter/Newkirk Icon, I suck at LiveJournal.

The whole reason why I'm here now (besides checking out what I've been missing on the HH group) is to spread the word of a new writers forum I'm on, Novel Ambition

We're pretty new right now, but we've got places to post/get feedback on everything from original stories to fan fiction to poetry and stuff, and we're working on a challenges section, and a place for helpful links.
I'm hoping it gets me motivated to write again, haha!
I've been seriously slacking, with the exception of some blogs here and there.

So if you're a writer and need some feedback, or want a place to share some fiction, or aren't a writer and want some new friends to chat with, come check it out...
I've known everyone on there right now for a long time, and everyone is really awesome.

You know you have a problem when you start scouring eBay for props that look like props people used on a certain TV show.

I bought a vintage telephone last week. It's not exactly like the one Colonel Klink has in his office, but it's pretty similar.

A new batch of icons from Hogan's Heroes, but other than having the show in common, there's really no theme to these.
Mostly experimentation and uh, quite a few of Newkirk (it was accidental, I swear!), although there's some of the other guys too, and a couple of Klink ones for ulysses_blue . :)

I'd be Sam, the boy from My Side of the Mountain.

When I was growing up, I loved that book so much. All I wanted to do was run away and live in a hollowed out tree in the Catskills, eating fish and frogs I'd caught (never mind the fact that I'd never caught or eaten a frog in my life).

My grandfather has twenty acres of land down the road from my house, and I convinced my brother to help me build all kinds of forts and shelters down in the woods over there, mostly based on wanting to be the kid in that book.

I haven't read that book in a really long time, but I still want to live in a tree.
 

I think it should still be a planet. They told us it was for years and then suddenly it's not?

Yeah... since it is now '08, I think it's safe to say I officially suck at livejournaling.
But, the other day I found this totally awesome Hogan's Heroes group here that I really like, so hopefully I'll be coming around here a little more often.

People who like HH as much as I do... how cool is that?
Yeah... I'm excited. :D

And I got paid today, so I'm definitely ordering one of the seasons from Amazon.
